There is a time to walk through doors that have no light switches in the room that follows. To be engulfed in darkness is to allow the light that shines from within you an opportunity to have a purpose. If you do not light that room, then you will never know what’s inside, and if you never know what’s inside, then you can never move forward. The comfort of light shadows our need to explore the places that scare us. It is these places that will elevate you. Make you stronger. Help you grow. But if we don’t take the opportunity to challenge ourselves, then none of this can ever happen. It is not the fault of a forgetful electrician, it is the fault of the house owner who is not familiar with her own house.
